I'm a busy parent who loves to cook tasty nutritious food on a budget. I've devised some recipes that can all be prepared in under five minutes which gives me more time for the fun stuff in life like spending time with my children and walking my dogs....and the not so fun stuff like doing the laundry and cleaning the house.
All my recipes are heavy on protein and light on carbs which enables me to eat well and maintain a healthy weight. If you feel the need to add more carbs into the ratio instead of the usual bread, rice or pasta you could experiment. For example, instead of eating bolognese with pasta, I serve it with green beans.
